《园艺学杂志》自2015年起由日本园艺学协会(JJSHS)更名为《日本园艺学协会杂志》(The Journal of The Japanese Society for Science, JJSHS)，其出版的主要目的是增加对日本园艺学协会(Japanese Society for园艺学)提供的研究信息的获取，该协会成立的目的是促进与园艺作物生产、分销和加工相关的研究和技术。自1925年第一期JJSHS以来，浩特。J。/JJSHS是出版研究人员对广泛的园艺作物，包括果树、蔬菜和观赏植物的研究结果的中心。该杂志在国外也享有很高的声誉，并与欧美园艺学会的期刊排名相同。

The Horticulture Journal , which has been renamed from the Journal of the Japanese Society for Horticultural Science (JJSHS) since 2015, has been published with the primary objective of enhancing access to research information offered by the Japanese Society for Horticultural Science, which was founded for the purpose of advancing research and technology related to the production, distribution, and processing of horticultural crops. Since the first issue of JJSHS in 1925, Hort. J./JJSHS has been central to the publication of study results from researchers of an extensive range of horticultural crops, including fruit trees, vegetables, and ornamental plants. The journal is highly regarded overseas as well, and is ranked equally with journals of European and American horticultural societies.
